Stakeholder Insight
Great Places Housing Group
- Quantitative research
- Depth interviews
Brief
With 26,000 homes, Great Places is one of the North West’s largest Housing Associations
One of its core values is building partnerships and successful, vibrant communities. To help achieve this, Great Places implemented a research programme among its stakeholders to understand their perceptions of performance and what its priorities should be going forward
Challenge
An initial programme of qualitative and quantitative research was devised where online depth interviews among key stakeholders were conducted to collect detailed and nuanced information.
This was followed by an online survey sent to all stakeholders. The goal was to confirm the findings from the earlier qualitative stage and to create a baseline for future comparisons. Since then, Great Places has run several shorter follow-up surveys (“dipsticks”) to track changes in stakeholder sentiment over time.
The survey findings helped Great Places Housing Group refine and improve its engagement strategy with Stakeholders and to optimise its communications. The tracking data has also helped Great Places to monitor performance and respond quickly to any emerging issues.
