Brief
Everton enlisted Influential to work alongside its in-house communications and stadium development teams and its advisors, CBRE, to deliver a robust and inclusive campaign of engagement and consultation with the public and key stakeholders
Challenge
Our team started by crafting the consultation messages: from the social and economic benefits of the proposals, to how its stadium designs would preserve and enhance the heritage of Liverpool’s docklands.
Next, we created a strategy to engage with a diverse set of audiences: including Everton fans, non-fans, and civic and political stakeholders. We used a wide range of channels to reach different audiences, including mailed questionnaires, digital campaigns, a roadshow and print advertising.
We delivered a two-stage consultation, collecting and analysing over 60, 000 responses, demonstrating an overwhelming support for the project.
